Terrible Stay

This hotel was nice looking but the beds were like sleeping on a brick covered in sheets. The refrigerator in one of the rooms did not work and the staff were not helpful when this was brought to their attention. The Hotel staff did not want to help us fix the problems so we left early and when we called the manager she also did not help and would not refund the money we paid even though we checked out the next day. We were billed for our entire stay of five days and only stayed for one night. Do no stay here if you would like to sleep, it won't happen. There is only one ice machine in the entire hotel and it is on the first floor, the pool area is nothing like it looks online, the rooms are also smaller than they look, and the bathrooms are incredibly tiny.

I selected this hotel because I've stayed there before and have been pleased with the experience. There is no charge for parking and we had ample room for 3 adults. The sofa bed isn't too comfortable, but that's a given. The breakfast is hearty and features a variety of foods to please many diners. The only drawback to this particular stay is that we were on the first floor rather close to the front desk. I realize I should have called to complain, but there were other "guests" partying/talking loudly in the hall until about 2 AM. The night auditor had a very loud voice and when he would talk with guests or other employees, his voice carried quite clearly down the hall. The TV and piped in music (both playing at the same time) made for a rather loud early morning as well. Do consider this hotel for your stay...it is a good value for your money and very convenient to the airport. DO let the staff know if there's too much noise....that was the only thing that was a negative about this stay.

Super clean and had very comfortable beds. So far the best Holiday Inn Express we have stayed in. Location was decent but a little bit away from restaurants. ( a few miles drive). getting into the City was not too difficult and UT Austin was only a few miles away. The breakfast was nothing fancy -but offered pretty much what you really should eat for breakfast. I think the price was a little steep but overall not bad and would stay again.

Had to go to Austin in a hurry, chose this because it was close to the airport- the rooms were really nice, really clean, the desk was really nice and helpful, and the breakfast was really well stocked and very nice. I would definitely stay there again.
